Kids 1st Swim School offers private swim lessons for all ages, infants - adults. We specialize in teaching children the skills they will need for a lifetime of water safety and enjoyment. Lessons are conducted in our pools or your home pool (Tequesta - Northlake Blvd)
Kids 1st Swim School's highly effective technique focuses on positive reinforcement and gradual skill development. We conduct lessons in a relaxed environment with a lot of praises and reassurances. We work hard to gain your child's trust and make them feel comfortable and confident. Children that previously had a negative water experience or are very anxious in the water, have done extremely well in our program.
Our goal is to teach your child water safety skills so that they are prepared should they fall into the water. We aim to teach them how to swim, roll on their backs to float and swim to find the wall. Children are also taught more advanced swimming techniques as they are ready.
Learning to swim is a step-by-step process, not an exact science. Children progress at their own pace, therefore, lessons are adapted to the individual needs of each child.
ALL of our lessons are private, one-on-one lessons. Parents are not required to be in the pool, but we encourage you to watch and provide positive support. Your child will have the same instructor each lesson. All of our instructors are trained and certified to teach infants, toddlers, children and adults. All have CPR and 1st Aid Certifications.
We are members of the United States Swim School Association and NDPA (National Drowning Prevention Alliance) where we receive ongoing training and certifications.
Kids 1st Swim School has been teaching children to swim since 2004. We are very involved in community events where we educate the public on water safety and the importance of swim lessons.
The Kids 1st Swim School mission is to instill in all children the confidence and self-reliance that comes with mastering swimming skills. We encourage the educational process through fun and positive reinforcement. We believe children learn best in a relaxed, caring and nurturing environment.
